How to get a refund

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, for the full amount. No store credit, no fees.

Never installed it? Refund it yourself

Watch for it on your statement

Banks usually show the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
  4. 4

    Prefer email?

Write to hello@roamclean.net from the address you used at checkout and we'll do it for you.

Other situations

Installed, but it won't connect

Reply to your order email during your trip. A person troubleshoots with you first; most problems are one setting (see No internet?). If it can't be fixed, you get a refund to your card or a replacement eSIM, your choice.

Your eSIM never arrived

Your eSIM appears on screen and by email right after payment. If we can't deliver it within 2 hours, we refund you automatically. You don't need to ask.

A top-up didn't add data

If a top-up doesn't reach your eSIM, we refund that top-up in full.

What can't be refunded

An eSIM that was installed and used, or installed before your plans changed, except when it won't connect and we can't fix it.

Before you dispute a charge

Please email us first. If you qualify, a refund reaches you faster than a card dispute, and it's the same money. The full rules are in our refund policy.

Quick Compatibility Check

Two checks before you buy:

1Your phone supports eSIM

Apple iPhone: iPhone XS, XR and later, including SE (3rd gen). SE (2nd gen): Apple's pages disagree, so check for an EID. Most iPhones from China mainland don't support eSIM.
Samsung Galaxy: S20 series and newer, Z Fold and Z Flip models, and some A models depending on region. Google Pixel: Pixel 4 and newer, and some Pixel 3 and 3a models.
Any phone: if Settings shows an “EID” (iPhone: General > About; Pixel: About phone > SIM status), your phone supports eSIM.

2Your phone is unlocked

iPhone, 10 seconds: Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock should say “No SIM restrictions”. A locked iPhone stops at “eSIM Not Supported”.
Android: Samsung shows it under Connections > More connection settings. Pixel or another phone from a carrier: check with your carrier.
