Yes. Hotspot (tethering) is allowed on every Canada plan. Anything your laptop or tablet uses counts toward the same data allowance.
Your data travels through our partner's internet gateway in the United States, so that's where your IP address appears. Maps, messaging and browsing work normally. Some streaming or banking apps may show content for that country or ask you to confirm it's you.
