Orange and Movistar networks
Your phone uses Orange or Movistar, whichever is stronger. The Spain plans work in Spain only; if you're visiting other countries too, the Europe plan covers 33.
What your phone will show
At the top of your screen you'll see Orange or Movistar, not RoamClean. That's normal. You can name the line "RoamClean" in your phone's settings.
Your IP appears elsewhere in Europe
Traffic on the Spain plans exits through France, the Netherlands or the UK, so websites may see an IP address from one of those countries.
Frequently asked questions
Direct answers. No hidden gotchas.
The days start counting when your phone first connects to Orange or Movistar in Spain, not when you buy or install. Install it at home on Wi-Fi before you fly; that uses none of your days or data. Start using it within 180 days of purchase.
No, the Spain plans work in Spain only. For a trip across several countries, the Europe plan covers 33 countries, including Portugal, France, Italy and the UK. See the Europe plans
No. Every RoamClean plan is data only, with no phone number. WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime and other internet apps work over data. Keep your home line switched on for normal texts and bank codes. How to keep your home number on
Yes. Hotspot (tethering) is allowed on every Spain plan. Anything your laptop or tablet uses counts toward the same data allowance.
Your data travels through our partner's internet gateway in France, the Netherlands or the UK, so that's where your IP address appears. Maps, messaging and browsing work normally. Some streaming or banking apps may show content for that country or ask you to confirm it's you.
If your eSIM was never installed, you get a full refund to your card, anytime within 180 days of purchase. If it's installed but won't connect in Spain, reply to your order email and a person will help; if it can't be fixed, you get your money back on your card. Read the refund policy
